This old German-Bohemian violin was built approx. 1940 in the traditional violin making region of Saxony and Bohemia, a quality instrument that was designed after the proven Bergonzi model with typical archings and flat ribs, slight flutings and characteristically shaped, elegant ff-holes. The small scroll and the antiqued varnish determine the individual appearance of the violin, that features an especially beautiful one-piece back made of maple wood. Our violin makers worked over this instrument completely and made in ready to play that is preserved in excellent, undamaged condition.
