This old German-Bohemian violin was built approx. 1940 in the traditional violin making region of Saxony and Bohemia, a quality instrument that was designed after the proven Bergonzi model with typical archings and flat ribs, slight flutings and characteristically shaped, elegant ff-holes. The small scroll and the antiqued varnish determine the individual appearance of the violin, that features an especially beautiful one-piece back made of maple wood. Our violin makers worked over this instrument completely and made in ready to play that is preserved in excellent, undamaged condition. We offer it ready to express its warm, mature and clear, powerful voice of character and we can recommend it.
