This interesting antique master violin is an exquisite choice for professional violinists - a wonderful restored 18th century violin suitable as first or second instrument with the sought-after mature, colorful, rich in overtones and radiant sound. The violin labeled Vincezo Rastura, Lugo (Italy) was made on a slender model whose medium arching and ribs reveal an interesting and mature concept. The style, which is playful yet clear and distinguished, unmistakably reveals Italian influences. Its tonal character is perfectly expressed by the self-confident appearance of this interesting 18th century violin. The expressive scroll is a later copy. A rich and patinated, luminous golden-orange shimmering oil varnish covers with the beautiful grain of the top made of first-class spruce and glowing flames of the one-piece maple back. After a thorough inspection in our workshop, we recommend this restoed 18th century violin to discerning musicians who are interested in an affordable, thoroughbred stringed instrument from the 18th century - which is also well suitable as an affordable travel or concert instrument with a sound to fall in love with.
