This good old German violin is a handmade instrument of quality, made in the Saxon region of Germany, presumably in Markneukirchen. The violin was made in the 1960/1970ies, and patterned after Stradivarius. Its warmm, powerful matured sound is of outstanding quality for an instrument of this price, clear and open in the upper ranges, warm and matured in the lower ranges. The sound is well balanced over the strings and of good strength - therefore it is an instrument perfectly suitable for good orchestra players. This old violin went through loving hands and has obviously been well taken care of. This German violin is preserved in very good crackfree and undamaged condition, it has been meticulously worked over in our workshop and is offered ready to play.
