This old German violin from the Markneukirchen region in Saxony is a good quality handmade instrument, that was made around 1880 as a piece of well-educated, solid Saxonian craftsmanship. This old violin is of exceptionally good quality of workmanship and average sound quality in the price range - bright, clear and rich in overtones. The medium grained spruce of the top was well chosen, the violin is covered with a highly patinated antique varnish of a dark red-brown color that shows with patina and signs from playing. Like all violins from Corilon violins this good German violin has been meticulously set up by the experienced luthiers in our atelier and is immediately ready to play. At the higjly discounted price, a sound sample is not offered.
