This old German violin from the Markneukirchen region in Saxony is a good quality handmade instrument that features an outstanding sound in the price range. Theviolin was made around 1920 as a piece of well-educated, solid Saxonian craftsmanship. This old violin is of exceptionally good quality of workmanship: the medium grained spruce of the top was well chosen, the violin is covered with a highly patinated antique varnish of a dark red-brown color that shows with patina and signs from playing. Like all violins from Corilon violins this good German violin has been meticulously set up by the experienced luthiers in our atelier and is immediately ready to play
