SALE Eugène Nicolas Sartory: Fine French violin bow by E. Sartory Paris (certificate J.-F. Raffin)

This fine French violin bow of the famous master Eugène Nicolas Sartory was created around 1925 in Paris. The elegant stick is round and crafted of brown, slightly structured pernambuco of premium quality. This veritable artwork of bow making has a head that is exquisite and aesthetic. Its meticulously designed ebony frog has a silver mounting with a Parisian eye and solid silver adjuster, the adjuster being a contemporary copy. Small repair to the end of the stick at the button cap are considered in the price. This fine Sartory violin bow sits perfectly and elegantly in the hand, and its balance point is almost exactly in the centre, slightly shifted towards the upper half. Its adorable sound is structured, precise and has a refined character. This Sartory violin bow is sold with a certificate of authenticity by Jean-François Raffin, Paris.
