Modern cello bow, after Morizot, Conrad Götz

An exquisite masterpiece from the famous atelier of Conrad Götz, this old cello bow was made in the 1980s and patterned after a model inspired by the French classic Morizot. The strong octagonal stick of premium light-brown pernambuco bears the original Conrad Götz stamp, as does the attractive silver-mounted frog with a Parisian eye. The stylishly crafted head is the work of a skilled hand, and it has a silver plate that matches its quality. The balance point is broad and feels centrally positioned; it is located at 26.1 cm of the overall length of 71.2 cm. This cello bow has outstanding playing characteristics, and now that we have set it up completely in our atelier for restoration, it is ready to play. We warmly recommend it because of its large, warm and precise sound.
