German Markneukirchen violin after Guarneri, beautiful red oil varnish

A gorgeous instrument preserved in pristine condition, this elegant Markneukirchen violin based on a Guarneri del Gesù model was made in 1930 / 1940 by an unknown hand. The slim model features a transparent yet luminous dark red oil varnish on a golden-yellow background which is preserved in very fine condition and accentuates the deep flames of the two-piece maple back. This good instrument shows most minor traces of use and is preserved without any repairs or flaws. It sings with a warm, bright voice that is characteristic of Guarneri model, with some sweetness in the upper ranges. Like all old stringed instruments from Corilon violins, this violin was set up by our luthiers and is now fully set up and ready to play.
