Powerful Markneukirchen violin, approx. 1940. Guarnerius model

A gorgeous Markneukirchen violin after Guarneri preserved in pristine condition - this elegant Markneukirchen violin based on a Guarneri del Gesù model was made in 1940 in a smaller family master workshop - the quality exceeds by far the quality of manufactured instruments. The model features a strong neck and makes this violin well suitable for male players. Transparent yet luminous dark orange varnish on a lighter background which is preserved in very fine condition and accentuates the deep flames of the two-piece maple back. This good instrument shows most minor traces of use and is preserved without any repairs or flaws. It sings with a warm, powerful voice that is characteristic of Guarneri model, with some sweetness in the upper ranges. Like all old stringed instruments from Corilon violins, this violin was set up by our luthiers and is now fully set up and ready to play.
