German 3/4 student violin. Saxony, 1950ies

A robust old German 3/4 student violin. The bodylength is 33,7 cm. The violin was made in one of the larger Markneukirchen violin manufacturing companies around 1950/1960, probably at Meinel & Herold oder Schuster & Co.. The model is after Antonius Stradivarius. The violin was handmade made from solid woods. The top is made of medium grained spruce, the back of flamed maple. The back is a one-piece back. The purfling is inlaid. This good 3/4 violin is preserved undamaged in crackfree condition, it has been meticulously worked over in our atelier and is offered ready to play. The charming sound is warm and open, matured, clear. A robust instrument, affordable in price and suitable for little ruffnecks.
