3/4 - old German 3/4 violin, probably August Clemens Glier

This excellent antique German 3/4 violin was probably built in the renowed Markneukirchen workshop of August Clemens Glier around 1900. It features a beautiful, sophisticated look, a warm, powerful sound and it is preserved in remarkable condition. The top is made of medium-grained spruce, the two-piece back of deeply flamed maple. The golden-brown varnish with shades of orange intensifies the natural beauty of the well-selected tonewoods. This rare quality 3/4 violin was set up and adjusted by our experienced luthiers and is offered in excellent condition, crackfree, and ready to play. Related to the body size of the 3/4 violin the sound is exceptionally powerful and strong. Warm, precise, rounded, carrying and of a character, not to be compared with modern chinese violins. Just like a big one! A distinguished instrument for young ambitious players with high standards.
