1/2 - good antique German-Bohemian 1/2 violin

This graceful, old 1/2 sized violin was manufactured in Saxony respectively the Vogtland region at the beginning of the 20th century by an unknown but skilled hand. It is astoundingly well preserved in crackfree condition, the transparent varnish bears tasteful antique touches. Some older varnish damage spots on top and mild traces from playing underlines the antique appearance of this beautiful 1/2 violin. The beautiful dark brown color shines warm and friendly and matches perfectly with the plain but elegant shape of the violin's body, that was crafted from well selected tonewoods of the Vogtland region. The bright, warm and clear, strong sound make it a worthy representative of the traditional Vogtland string manufacturing tradition.
