This interesting antique master violin is an exquisite choice for professional violinists with a limited budget - a wonderful restored 19th century French violin suitable as first or second instrument with the sought-after mature, colorful, rich in overtones and radiant sound. The violin was made on a flat model whose medium arching and ribs reveal an interesting and mature concept. The style, which is playful yet clear and distinguished, unmistakably reveals Mirecourt influences and remidns of the Claude Pirot workshop. Its tonal character is perfectly expressed by the self-confident appearance of this interesting 19th century violin. A well-worn and transparent golden-brown shimmering varnish covers with the beautiful grain of the top made of first-class spruce and the broad flames of the two-piece maple back. After a thorough inspection in our workshop, we recommend this well restored 19th century violin that has a later scroll to discerning musicians who are interested in an affordable, thoroughbred stringed instrument from the 19th century - which is also well suitable as an affordable travel or concert instrument with a sound to fall in love with.
