Antique violin from Saxony. Made in the 1920's, with a warm, clear, powerful tone

This antique German violin is a perfectly preserved instrument, that was handmade approx. in 1920 in Germany by an workshop in Saxony.. The purfling was flawlessly applied near the edges, the small soundholes are cut with precision. The experience and skills of the violin maker are impressively demonstrated by the excellent tonewoods he chose, especially by birds eye maple of the one-piece back. Golden-brown varnish with some antique touches determines the beautiful, attractive appearance of the violin with a warm note. The Corilon violin makers thoroughly looked over this good violin and made it ready to play. This outstanding German Markneukirchen violin has excellent tonal qualities at the price and features a convincing strong, warm and clear voice full of character, that is radiant, precise, responsive and well-balanced across the strings. The projection is instant and immediate.
