Antique 3/4 violin by J. A. Baader Mittenwald: this attractive German 3/4 violin unmistakably hails from the tradition-rich Bavarian violin making town of Mittenwald, where it was made around 1879. It clearly communicates a flawless craftsmanship: confidently accentuated edges, the solid carving of the scroll and the functionally crafted two-piece back of maple all reflect the handwork of a routined violin maker. In light of the signs of use, some deep scratches to the varnish on the top and its high age, this well-preserved crack-free antique 3/4 violin appears to have been well loved and frequently played because its voice is ideal for ambitious young learners. It has only minopr flaws. The mature character and fullness of its warm yet precise and radiant sound is rare amongst 3/4-sized violins in the price range. It is, like all old stringed instruments from Corilon violins, ready to play and has been thoroughly set up by the specialists at our workshop for violin making and restoration. We recommend it for serious young musicians. Free delivery, with a 30-day right of return and Corilon's trade-in guarantee.
