This fine and especially powerful, antique appearing 19th century French 3/4 violin was made in Mirecourt following patterns of Stradivarius, as it is indicated by the model label. Finest tonewoods - medium grained spruce for the top and mildly flamed maple for the back - were used to create a responsive and strong sounding 3/4 violin featuring a mature sound, full of character and clarity. The small, elegant scroll has a very individual shape, and the highly transparent, shining golden-orange varnish that shows minor traces from playing has a charming color. This antique French 3/4 violin is in perfect condition; it was completely worked over by our luthier and is ready to play.
