Even at first glance it is clearly a work from the Cremonese school and bears the dated original label by Carlo di Citta – an interesting contemporary violin maker who producted excellent work even in this complicated format. The luminous golden-yellow oil varnish is lovely, ornamented by charming structure as well as a few traces of use.
