Antique violin bow, this nickel-silver mounted Markneukirchen violin bow is the fine work of the Knopf family in Markneukirchen. The piece was crafted in the early 20th century and has a highly tense and Knopf family workshop, has a distinctive character to it; the ebony frog has a large Parisian eye.. Masterful craftsmanship can be seen in the weight distribution of the round stick; teh balance point is in the upper half of the stick near the middle. This is an excellent and responsive, very handy violin bow for demanding musicians and is in perfect condition. It has a clear, large and sophisticated sound that is bright, sweet and radiant.
