German violin bow by E. W. Zimmer

The bow is a very good German violin bow of the Markneukirchen school, made around 1920/1930 by W. E. Zimmer. The stick is stamped accordingly. The round stick is made of brown pernambuco wood. The stick is rather stiff yet of very good elasticity. The ebony frog is nickel mounted with pearl eye and white pearl slide. The measured balance point is at 25,9 cm from the frog end, the felt balance point is nicely in the middle.
