This antique master violin from Saxony is a fine quality instrument of the late 19th century, build around 1870 in the Markneukirchen region. It is a recommended violin full of character which is highly motivating to play with its mature and clear, powerful sound, well-balanced across the strings, and with a crisp response and long lasting resonance. Small, elegant soundholes and the intense dark red-brown varnish with many traces of use that covers the wonderful two-piece maple back determine the indeed attractive antique optical appearance. This 19th century masterpiece has some traces of use, some marks and varnish flaws which are typical for the history of good instruments; this violin is offered completely crackfree and worked over, in good and perfect playing condition.
