This historic Vogtland master violin with a bright, clear sound was crafted around 1800 in the Vogtland region of Saxony. It was unmistakably influenced by the Vogtland region's classic design, although at the same time it reflects a strong influence by the old Italian masters. Medium arching curves resembling the Italian masters shapes the aesthetic of this well preserved Vogtland master violin, as does the one-piece back of maple with interesting grain cut from the slab. This beautiful Vogtland master violin is preserved in remarkable condition and it is like all instruments from us immediatley ready to play. Its bright voice has a warm character to it, which serves as further proof of the sound quality which has made historic violins from Saxony an inside tip amongst demanding musicians.
