A very good and extremely carefully made instrument, it follows a personal interpretation of the model, with arching kept flat, wide corners and finely rounded edges. The transparent red-brown varnish is witness to intensive playing and gives the large violin its special, noble character. This good French violin, which is crackfree, was worked over and set up in our violin making workshop and is offered in perfect playing condition. Its sound is clear, dark sweet and rich in overtones, balanced across the registers and the four strings, ringing in the upper ranges and rich in overtones.
