This petite violin labeled "Handmade in Mittenwald 1952" (35.1 cm) is a beautiful piece of work which probably originates from the workshop of Erich Sander. It is a quality Mittenwald violin was made in 1952 in traditional violin-making town Mittenwald. The delicate model with the extended corners is quite characteristic. The expressive tone woods are well selected: the top is made of beautiful regular spruce, the two-piece back is made of flamed maple. This lovely violin has a powerful sound and is completely undamaged, crackfree and in perfect condition. The varnish also in very good condition and almost without any playing marks. The violin has been checked by our luthier and is ready to play. The bright clear sound is open and rich in overtones, supported, carrying, and dominant.
