An antique violin with an outstanding sound at the price and quality: German Orchestra violin by Neuner & Hornsteiner made in 1878. This violin labeled Mathias Neuner with an outstanding rich and resonant sound is a good handmade Mittenwald violin -  a good example of quality handcraftsmanship with a strong, balanced sound, warm and resonant and rich in overtones. It is preserved undamaged and crackfree with clear signs of age and from extensive playing. The top of the instrument was made from medium grained spruce, the two-piece back is from mildly flamed maple. This one is a very nice sounding, affordable handmade Mittenwald instrument from the traditional center of violin making in Bavaria. Like all offers from us, this includes Corilon's trade-in option and an optional certificate.
