From 1920 onward, Louis Joseph Morizot père brought up his five sons to become outstanding bow makers in the spirit of his own teachers, Charles Nicolas Bazin and Eugène Sartory. Under the name "Louis Morizot et ses Fils," the family enjoyed a sterling reputation amongst luthiers and musicians well beyond their home town of Mirecourt.
